This week I love...

...my luck! I never win anything but this week I have been lucky enough to win tickets to Habitare - the best and the biggest interior fair in Finland. The fair is kind of similar to Formex in Sweden and Maison&Objet in France. Except this fair is open for public so anyone can go! And I'm going on Sunday with my mum. What a great place to spend some mother-daughter time. I'm sure there'll be a pile of photos in here on Sunday/Monday. Ha hah!

Without further chit chats, let's get cracking...

1. I ♥ Tom Dixon
I am in love with Tom Dixon's lamps, candle holders and now these super cute candles. Copper and brass are huge this autumn as is mixing metals and these candles would be a perfect way to introduce those colours into your home without too permanent of a commitment. The set of three scented candles includes the copper London, gold Orientalist and silver Royalty. How gorgeous are these?!

London calls to the smell of red brick, London parks with crocuses and nettles and the salty smell of the Thames at Dagenham.
Orientalist captures the faint memory of an Indian wedding with rose petal garlands, giant cinnamon sticks on beach stalls and the musky smells of the Chinese herbal market.
Royalty is a reminiscence of tea time with a pot of Earl Grey, scones, strawberry jam and the drive home in a '52 Bentley with tatty leather seats.

2. I ♥ this house
I chose this one because of the beautiful use of COLOURS! I know, have I gone crazy? Did I just say colour?! Yes, I did. I love the different shades of green in the textiles, the bottles etc. It looks so fresh. I think this would be a great colour combo to try in the spring. How could I remember this then...  The kitchen is lovely too. Almost a bit romantic and I just love that little shelf with the glass scoops for flour, sugar, oats etc. Also love that (House Doctor?) rug in the living room. And the whole apartment is filled with light. Just beautiful!

3. I ♥ Hay
The Danish designer and manufacturer Hay has a lot of amazing things but the most recent one to caught my attention is their brand new Plus 9 blanket. It's got the trendy cross patternt and comes in three colours - pink, orange and purple. It's cosy, comfortable and above all beautiful! Especially this time of year, I love having throws and blankets around the house. To look pretty and to keep your toes warm. I would happily take this blanket to my home. In pink!

4. I ♥ DIY
This is such an easy thing to do but it makes a massive difference. This is a Bestå drawer in the picture and the wooden top is actually removable and can also be turned around to reveal the grey painted side. What a fab idea!!! Such as easy way to refresh your old drawer. The other side can obviously be painted any colour and it's nice to have a wooden side and a painted side. This idea is from the stylist of Less Is More who styled this stunning apartment. I am already thinking where I could do this...

5. I ♥ Nicolas Vahe
I've seen his products before but having recently seen them used in styling I realised just how cool they are. The packaging and branding is genius! I love all of the pots and jars. These are exactly the kind that I could happily leave out on the counter for the whole world to see. My favourite is that cool bag. I don't actually own anything of the collection but I think I will soon... Have you got any at home?!

Hey, that's it. Have a fabulous weekend hope to see you in Habitare!! Enjoy!
