This week I love...

...Halloween, of course! In Finland, it's starting to get bigger and bigger but we're nowhere near the amount of attention it gets in England and America. Tonight I was helping out at my goddaughter's Halloween party. 14 six year olds girls - that's scary, I tell you. Tomorrow her sister is having a party at their house so I'll get a bit of Halloween fun there as well. At home I haven't got any decorations or anything so it'll be nice to go to a party to enjoy the mood.

But now it's time to check out this week's favourites...

1. I ♥ this wall
Oh, if only I had this kind of bathroom. It's simply stunning!! The vintage bath, chandelier and of course, that incredible wall! Obviously, it does require a certain kind of room too so maybe I won't be installing one in our flat anytime soon. Ha hah! Absolutely in love.

2. I ♥ DIY
This is so simple yet effective. Bloggers have such creative ideas and this is definitely proof of that. You can do this with dressers, sofas and even dining room chairs, whatever has the right kind of legs. Masking tape will help you make the pattern and then all you need is some paint. 3. I ♥ this house
I have such a soft spot for the combination of black, white and green. It's just such a fresh look. I think that might be just the word to describe this flat - fresh! You might also use words like light, airy or modern and all of them would be just as fitting. The textiles bring added warmth to the space so it doesn't feel too sterile. 4. I ♥ sequins
This time I don't mean sequins and sparkle for parties but for everyday use. Daytime sequins as they are sometimes called. The key is mixing them with less fancy pieces like denim, knitwear and casual accessories. So really dressing them down. It's also a great way of giving that Christmas party dress or skirt a bit more wear. Try it. You might be surprised at how versatile sequins can be. Here's some ideas...

5. I ♥ inspiration
Oh, how I love finding some inspirational pictures and ideas that I can recreate at home because I already have the same things in the house. This time I'm talking about that black glass cube and that plant. I have both, slightly different but close enough to copy. Now, I have a new way of showing them off together. Yay!
