This week I love...

...maternity leave!!!! Today was my last day at work and now I am officially a mum-to-be. Ha hah! I guess I have been a wannabe mummy for a long time already but now I have to actually become one. Just over a month before the little lady arrives and then it's a whole new life for all of us. And I couldn't be more happier, more excited, more ready. S and I are really looking forward to this new chapter in our lives and I'm sure it'll be wonderful.

So, in honour of the year long "holiday", today's favourites will be all about babies, babies and more babies. Hope you'll enjoy them with me...

1. I ♥ this photo
I am just in love with this photo and I will(!) have this kind of picture taken of me and my daughter. Everything about it is fab but I especially love the flowers they have on their hair. Just perfection!

2. I ♥ baby clothes
They're just soooo cute because they're so small. I could buy them everyday and I am actually very proud of myself as I haven't gone totally overboard with the shopping. Sure, I've got clothes for the baby but I could have much more. I mean, much more. :) Here are some super cute ones I had pinned on my That Kid Is More Stylish Than Me board. It seems that I have a thing for grey. Ha hah!

3. I ♥ nursery inspiration
Even though our baby doesn't have her own room, I still plan to give her the most amazing space I can. I have a whole board on Pinterest for Nursery inspiration and I especially love these Lay Baby Lay nursery moodboards. I don't know if you can call them moodboards, maybe they're more like collages but anyway, they give you lots of great ideas and I love the different colour schemes too. Here are some that I really like... Yes, the Polka Dot Pretty is my favourite. :)

4. I ♥ DIY
And this is one DIY that I just must do. I love it when little girls have big headbands and I have already planned to make quite a few myself. Obviously I'll need a place to store and display them. For that, this is a great idea. I haven't got a clue how I will make them but I'm guessing I'll need some foam or maybe strong paper will be enough, some fabric to cover whatever I'll build and some kind of stands for them. When I do build them, I'll share the process with you. I think I need to ask my mum for some advice... :)

5. I ♥ my workmates
The people at work have been just amazing throughout my pregnancy - so supportive, helpful and excited for me. As today was my last day, they got the baby a little present. The baby needs warmth, cleanliness and food, they said, so she was gifted with a gorgeous blanket, a towel and some spoons. How utterly cute! And all in beautiful neutral colours. Looooove!!! I had to share a picture of the beautiful packaging and check out the bump too. It's not really quite that big, I had to push it forward a bit but it creates the right feeling. Ha hah!

That was all for this week. Now I'm going to start enjoying my weekend and then on Monday sleep late and enjoy my holiday too. At least I get some sleep before the baby arrives. Ha hah!
